You’re going to start by filling out some forms because we need to get some basic information from you. What I generally invite a client to bring is information about their accident, let’s say they have a police report, or they have some medical records, or witness statements, maybe they’ve done a little of the background work already. So, bring that information with you. Or maybe you simply have an accident card that was provided to you by the highway patrol or the local police, and we have to build information from there. But, you are going to sit down with either a very well trained paralegal in personal injury matters, or with an attorney, or with both, and these people will answer the questions that you have, take information about your case, will help understand the needs that you have so we can match what we offer to what you need. It’s not a one size fits all situation because every person is different, every person has different needs, every case is different and we want to make sure that you get the right information that is directed for your particular case. So that’s part of what happens in a free consultation. At the end of that consultation process if you don’t want to sign anything, you can walk out the door. If you felt like you got what you needed, and we’re the right fit for you, then we will provide you a very carefully planned program to handle your case, a retainer agreement so it’s all in writing and a booklet that gives you a lot more information about the injury process. So that’s what you can expect with us.
