  1. If you're older than 40, forget about getting a good job as a new law grad. No one will hire you. You'll end up at Starbucks making coffee. With a law degree.

  2. Hi, do you have any knowledge on how international students studying law can get summer legal jobs without violating Nd their visa?

  3. Thanks for all the videos! Legit watched them all through multiple times. So informative. I feel like I pick up something new every time I watch them.

  4. Hi Angela. I'm currently a summer associate at a corporate law firm in NYC. The firm just asked me for an updated transcript. I'm a bit anxious. My grades have gone a bit down from last year, but nothing major (not C's or D's). Should I be concerned? In other words, what are the chances that they will rescind my offer based off of this updated transcript?

  5. Hi Angela, just discovered your channel and love your videos! You mentioned 1L grades being vital in the hiring process, but I'm wondering if students are transferred after their 1L year (especially to one of the T14 schools) would that make their 2L and 3L grades as important as their 1L grades? Looking forward to your next one!

  6. Have you done any videos or know anything about going to law school later in life? I’m changing my career and I’ll be starting law school at 36.

  7. You’re videos are always very informative! How do firms look at foreign nationals with an American JD?

  8. Hi Angela, I have so many questions, but here are just some that I have while watching this one video:

    1) What extra-curricular were you involved in during law school? (I think you'll be a great example for all of us; also I stalked your Linkedin but didn't find the information lol)
    2) Is it true that law review > moot court/mock trial > other groups and organizations? Where do clinics and research assistantship fit in?
    3) Should you just focus on grades during your 1L, and do as many extra-curriculars as you can during 2L and 3L?

    4) How does it work that some people have off-campus internship/externship during the school year?
    5) I like the idea of working public interest and work-life balance, but is it true that it is hard to find work in public interest vs. a law firm simply because there are less openings in public interest?

Thank you!! I'm so happy that you're always answering questions!!

  9. Just wanted to thank you for your very helpful and informative videos. I've been thinking of switching careers to law and your videos have been a great resource! Also like how you respond to a lot of common questions in your comments.

  10. I am a non-U.S. citizen; I got my law degree from the UK and graduated last year from Georgetown with an LLM in Securities and Financial Regulations. I am taking the NY Bar exam this month, and if I pass, I'd very much like to get a job with a big law firm in DC or NY as an Associate. I have 8 years of work experience – worked for Goldman Sachs in London (compliance), and in Africa with the Uganda Stock Exchange as a Legal Manager. Do you have any advice for someone with my profile on how to get a big law job?
